“At both our wedding and one of our parties, Renee wowed our guests with her wine pairings, and with her fabulous, fun and informative presentation of those wines. She’s a sommelier superstar!” Andrea, Vancouver
“I have used Renée’s Sommelier services numerous times and have always been very impressed with her extensive knowledge of wine and her gift for making participants feel at ease in the complex world of wine tasting - she is without a doubt a master host who truly understands how intimidating wine selection can be for most of us!” Eliane, Calgary
"I just wanted to send an email to say a HUGE thank you for everything! Jason, and our guests, had an absolutely wonderful time. They kept commenting on how great the wines were and how well they went with everything we ate! It was just an amazing night all around - thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge and making wine fun." Sarah, Calgary
“Renée so graciously attended a recent fundraiser for the Little Schoolhouse in Bragg Creek. Her private wine tasting was extremely well received and ended up being the highlight of the evening. Renee proved to have expert knowledge of the wines and their origins and the participants thoroughly enjoyed the presentation. I will be keeping Renée in mind for any future wine events, whether large or small." Kristyn, Bragg Creek
"Who better to invite to a neighbourhood potluck than Renee Delorme of Tasting Pleasures? While visiting us on Piers Island, BC, Renee entertained two dozen neighbours with her fun accent, wit and wine knowledge. It was a wine tasting with a twist as she really had no chance to prepare any information. An assortment of good food and randomly chosen wines flowed in with no prearranged theme to guide the selection. Like a pro Renee rose to the challenge of this impromptu Wine Tasting and educated us all. Firstly she noted how typical of so many potlucks were the selections: food plates perfect for white wines and yet red wines predominated! She ably discussed how to balance the varied flavours and offerings. Each bottle had its moment in the limelight as Renee highlighted something about it: its aromas, colour, weight, sweetness, zing, tannin content, grape origins or even the labeling. She fielded questions from the basic, "What about Baby Duck?", to the more sophisticated regarding nuances between varietals. She engaged everyone by soliciting our input as to our preferences to the tastes and flavours on offer. Her seemingly endless knowledge and engaging laughter made the two hours zip by. It truly was a Tasting Pleasure for everyone. Merci Renee!" Isabel, Pier Island
“Two years ago, weary of the winter blues, I decided to host a wine tasting party at my home to welcome spring. Our guide of the evening was Renée Delorme, a sommelier who had recently completed her Sommelier certificate with the International Sommelier Guild. Renée led us on a journey of discovery of red wines with a low tannin content (my favorite), educating us on how to distinguish the different flavours of the wine, how to discern their aromas and which foods to paring them with. Renée displayed a great depth of knowledge and answered our questions with humour and enthusiasm, displaying her obvious enjoyment land love of wines. In the end, my friends and I all agreed that this was a most entertaining and civilized way to welcome spring.” Maria, Calgary

Her seasoned expertise in wine and spirits, her contagious enthusiasm, as well as her ability to advise clients in both English and French alike were key elements in our decision to select Tasting Pleasures for our private wine tasting event. And it proved right! the event was a success, with participants delighted to be introduced to less common wines and in a very friendly yet professional manner”. Sylviane, Calgary
